How to assemble the new Accolmile Step-through electric bicycle

The new Accolmile 700C City E-Bike is one of the most affordable 250 Watt Bafang mid-drive electric bikes on the market.
The new step-through electric bike is extremely easy to assemble and comfortable to ride.
In this post, I will go through the six simple steps to assemble the new Accolmile 700C!

You will need a wrench number 15 and three Hex keys: 5, 4, and 3mm.

Assemble the front wheel

Open the box, you’ll see the bike itself and a small box with the charger, pedals, and the user manual inside;
Take the bike out of the box and undo the cable ties;
Detach the front wheel from the bike frame and set it aside.

Get the valve handle and keep it around the wheel, remove the plastic cover;
Remove the plastic covers from the front wheel, don’t forget to remove the plastic insert from the brake calliper;
The brake disk should be aligned with the brake calliper;
Attach the front wheel to the frame;
Tighten the axis screw then fold in the handle. If too tight unscrew it slightly.

Set up the handlebar

Loosen the central screw and take the top attachment by removing the four screws;
Place the handlebar, then set up the top attachment back as shown in the video;
Secure the handlebar by putting the four screws back in place diagonally;
Adjust the handlebar for the best comfort and tighten the central screw firmly;
If you feel any movement at the handlebar, just tighten the screws on the stem ( remind to keep the handlebar and the front wheel aligned ).

Assemble the pedals

Place the left pedal, make sure to have the one marked with the letter “L” on it;
Screw it counterclockwise onto the crank by hand;
Then tighten firmly using the No.15 wrench;
The right pedal has the letter “R” on it and is crewed clockwise;
Then tighten firmly using the No.15 wrench.

Assemble the saddle

Unfold the saddle fastener, remove the plastic cover;
Place and adjust the saddle to your height and comfort;
Fold back in to tighten.

Assemble the mudguard and the front light

Place the front mudguard above the wheel;
Secure the two pre-installed arms with the mudguard rods;
Place the front light in an upwards position;
Secure them by adding the 10 millimeters screw in place;
Use the 4 mm Hex to secure the stabilizers.

Battery and LCD Display

The battery is locked with the provided key;
Turn the battery ON, and then turn the display ON by pressing the ON button;
Press and hold the “+” button to switch the lights ON and OFF.

That is it! Your bike is ready!
