Is This the Best Value Full-Suspension Electric Mountain Bike?
Finding a full-suspension electric mountain bike that combines premium components, solid performance, and an affordable price isn’t easy. Most bikes either compromise on quality to hit a lower price point or quickly climb into the premium price bracket.

These provide excellent grip on loose terrain while still rolling efficiently on pavement. Whether riding forest trails, gravel roads, or commuting through town, they deliver an excellent balance between traction, stability, and efficiency.
Switch Between Torque and Cadence Sensors
One of my favorite features is the ability to switch between torque sensing and cadence sensing while riding.
Few e-bikes offer both systems, let alone let you change between them instantly.
The difference is immediately noticeable.
Torque mode delivers a natural riding experience by adjusting motor assistance according to how hard you’re pedaling. It feels intuitive, responsive, and is ideal for:
– Technical climbs
– Mountain trails
– Off-road riding
– Riders who prefer a more bicycle-like feel
Cadence mode, meanwhile, provides a much more relaxed riding experience. Once you start pedaling, the motor maintains consistent assistance with minimal effort.

Adjustable DNM Rear Air Shock
At the rear, the bike features a DNM adjustable air shock.
When riding around town, it can initially feel a little firm.
However, once the terrain becomes rough, its purpose becomes obvious.
It absorbs impacts effectively while keeping the rear wheel planted and maintaining excellent stability through uneven sections.
120 mm Adjustable Front Suspension
The front suspension is equally impressive.
You get 120 mm of travel, along with both:

This level of adjustability is something I’d normally expect on significantly more expensive electric mountain bikes.
Being able to tune the suspension for different riding conditions makes the bike much more versatile than many competitors in this price range.
Motor Performance: Smooth, Quiet, and Surprisingly Capable
The RX600 Pro uses a 250W rear hub motor that produces up to 650W of peak power.
Although Lankeleisi doesn’t officially publish a torque figure, real-world performance speaks for itself.
I tested the bike on multiple steep climbs.
Eventually, I reached one climb where the motor began to struggle—but honestly, it was far steeper than what most riders would realistically attempt.
For normal trail riding, gravel paths, and mixed terrain, the motor performs confidently and consistently.
Unlocking the Speed
Out of the box, the bike is limited to 25 km/h to comply with European regulations.
After unlocking it, I was able to reach approximately 42 km/h, making the bike noticeably more enjoyable on open roads and longer rides.
Optional Thumb Throttle
I also installed the optional thumb throttle.
This turned out to be much more useful than expected.
It allows instant motor assistance whenever needed, which is especially helpful for:
– Steep climbs
– Technical trail sections
– Starting on inclines
– Clearing obstacles
Rather than delivering abrupt power, the throttle builds acceleration smoothly and predictably.

Battery Performance and Real-World Range
Powering the bike is a 48V 20Ah removable battery.
Charging is flexible since the battery can be charged either while installed on the bike or removed for indoor charging.
The included 3A charger keeps charging times reasonably quick.

During my own testing, I mostly rode in PAS 3 and PAS 4, covering mixed terrain that included hills and off-road sections.
My final range came to approximately 61 km.
While this is considerably lower than the official figures, it’s also completely expected.
Manufacturer estimates are typically measured under ideal conditions using lower assistance levels. Riding harder, faster, and on more demanding terrain naturally consumes more battery power.
One advantage of the RX600 Pro is that if the battery eventually runs flat, you’re still able to ride home thanks to the 8-speed Shimano drivetrain.
You’ll certainly notice the bike’s weight—around 29 kg, which is standard for a full-suspension e-MTB—but it’s still perfectly rideable without motor assistance.
Strong Braking Performance
Stopping power is provided by Zoom dual-piston hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors.
Performance is excellent.
Braking feels:

Even at higher speeds, the bike remains composed under heavy braking.
The brake levers also include motor cut-off sensors.

This time was different.
After three weeks of riding the RX600 Pro, I genuinely struggled to identify a meaningful weakness worth highlighting.
No bike is perfect, but it’s remarkably difficult to criticize what Lankeleisi has achieved here considering the price.
You get premium-looking construction, quality suspension, excellent tires, reliable hydraulic brakes, a large removable battery, smooth motor performance, and the unique flexibility of switching between torque and cadence sensing whenever you want.
The real-world range is lower than the official claim, but that’s true of virtually every electric bike once you begin riding at higher assist levels and tackling challenging terrain.
Everything else simply works—and works well.
If you’re looking for a capable full-suspension electric mountain bike without spending premium-brand money, the Lankeleisi RX600 Pro deserves serious consideration.
