As we navigate through the city, our biker finds that Warsaw is quite a bike-friendly city, being flat and easy to ride. Meanwhile, our car version struggles with heavy traffic, waiting at multiple red lights.
The E26’s powerful hydraulic brakes, paired with large 180 mm rotors, provide solid stopping power, even if they aren’t from a big-name brand.

After a long wait at a red light, our biker arrives at the destination two minutes ahead of the car. The E26 offers a significant advantage in speed and convenience, zipping through shortcuts and avoiding parking hassles.

Challenge #2: The Cargo Test

Next up, we embark on a cargo challenge. Our task is to carry heavy camera gear to three iconic tourist spots in Warsaw and capture some stunning shots.

As we progress to the second destination, the E26 continues to prove itself as a capable cargo e-bike. The bike’s lights and handlebar setup are noteworthy as well.

Challenge #3: The Range Test

Now, let’s see how far the Engwe E26 can go on a single charge. The battery is a 48V, 16Ah removable unit that can be charged on or off the bike.
Engwe claims a maximum range of 140 km, achievable at lower pedal assist levels. However, our rider has been using level five the entire time while carrying heavy gear.

After rolling and riding through city traffic, our biker manages to cover an impressive 84 km before the battery finally gives out. This is a testament to the E26’s battery performance, even when loaded.
A full recharge takes around six hours, and while it’s possible to pedal home without motor support, the bike’s weight makes it less comfortable.
