This e-bike is a true off-road monster. From the first glance, it’s clear it’s built for adventure.
It’s big and bold, with dual motors and a massive battery hinting at impressive power (and some added weight).
But don’t be intimidated by its size – if you can handle it, this beast has a lot to offer.
Hold on Tight: Power and Performance
This e-bike is a rocket! The dual 750W motors unleash a mind-blowing 130 Nm of torque, conquering hills and leaving regular bikes in the dust. Feeling the need for speed?
I hit a blistering 59.4 kilometers per hour using just the throttle!
The pedal-assist system is smooth and offers five levels for a customized workout. I typically cruised on level 3 with the rear motor for a balanced effort.
When I needed an extra boost, the front motor kicked in like a nitrous boost – pure exhilaration!
The power of the S26 is undeniable. It’s a beefed-up tractor on wheels, with massive tires, raw power, and an exciting hum. Engaging both motors transforms it into an unstoppable beast!
No terrain stands a chance against the combined torque and aggressive tires.
However, remember, great power comes with a bit less range when using both motors simultaneously.
Range and Battery
Duotts advertises a range of 120-150 km on a single charge, but realistically, expect 60-80 km under typical riding conditions.
That’s still impressive for the price point! The secret weapon is a massive 48V, 20Ah Samsung battery, a high-quality cell that prioritizes safety and reliability.
It recharges conveniently on or off the bike and has an external status indicator. A full charge typically takes 8-10 hours.
Components and Features
The S26 features mid-range components that deliver solid performance. Hydraulic disc brakes with dual rotors provide excellent stopping power in any weather.
The suspension system works well together to smooth out rough terrain. The Shimano Tourney TZ 7-speed drivetrain tackles most situations, and you can still pedal home even if the battery dies (remember, this bike is hefty!).
The handlebars are well-organized, with easy access to controls for brakes, power, lights, motor function, horn, and a USB port to keep your devices charged.
The display is bright and user-friendly, and it connects via Bluetooth to the Duotts app for further customization.
Built Tough and Ready for Adventure
The impressive 26×4.0 inch Chao Yang fat tires offer incredible grip and stability on any terrain. Fenders keep you mud-free, and the strong rear rack lets you haul groceries or gear.
The integrated headlight illuminates nighttime rides, while the bright taillight ensures visibility.
Finally, the frame itself is a masterpiece of durability, boasting impressive welds and a sharp paint job.

Room for Improvement?
A couple of minor things could be better. The separate control for the dual motors feels clunky, and a higher-quality front suspension fork would be a nice upgrade.
The Duotts app has potential but seems to lack features like GPS tracking and cruise control. Hopefully, these will come in future updates.
Considering the price tag, these are minor trade-offs for a powerful and enjoyable e-MTB experience.
Who is this E-Bike For?
The S26 is perfect for riders who want power and versatility. Weekend warriors, commuters, and anyone who wants to experience the joy of e-biking will love it!
It’s powerful for the terrain and can handle a hefty payload of up to 150kg. Plus, it’s a great fit for taller riders.
